VNX5800 Overview

The EMC VNX2 family provides mid-tier to enterprise storage solutions, supporting file-only, block-only, and unified implementations via the intuitive Unisphere® interface. Positioned above the VNX5600, the VNX5800 delivers enhanced performance and capacity for demanding environments. Each Storage Processor (SP) enclosure includes an Intel Xeon E5-2620 (~2.0GHz, six cores) with 32GB of RAM, making it ideal for mixed workloads that require both throughput and scalability.
